An article at The Washington Examiner, House Dems trained to make race the issue, once again proves that it is a pre-planned political strategy, not a legitimate reaction to actual racist statements: House Democrats received training this week on how to raise the issue of race to defend government programs, according to training materials obtained by The Washington Examiner.

The prepared content of a Tuesday presentation to the House Democratic Caucus and staff indicates that Democrats will seek to portray apparently neutral free-market rhetoric as being charged with racial bias, conscious or unconscious.

They have to be trained to play the race card?  I thought that it just came naturally to them.  Polish up them Dog-Whistles, boys.

Polls, on the issue of gay marriage, don’t seem to mean anything. On the very day that a Gallup poll found gay marriage to be a 50-50 issue nationally, voters in North Carolina joined voters in California and soundly rejected gay marriage. Put the issue to a vote and people break from the polls, and they break decisively. Whether the state is red, blue, or purple doesn’t seem to matter.

In the aftermath of North Carolina’s vote, this NewsObserver photo may reveal what Barack Obama and the Democrats fear the most.

And considering the overwhelming support for traditional marriage in NC, a state that Obama won in 2008, I don’t think he will be making any public pronouncements on the matter before the election. Or after it for that matter, even if he wins he won’t have to publicly show support for it, he can just nominate Dan Savage to the Supreme Court.
