Coliseum Porn Film Produced Five Days after 9-11?

Patterico points to the LA Times story that has all the details.  What goes unmentioned in the article is the alleged lax security at a national landmark just 5 days after the terrorist attacks on Sept 11, 2001.  The LA Times notes:

How the crew got permission to use the national historic landmark — which was built as a memorial to World War I veterans — is unclear.  Gaining access to the locked stadium and firing up the field lights typically requires the approval of a high-ranking manager, according to people familiar with Coliseum operations, who requested anonymity because they are not allowed to speak publicly on the matter.

The movie’s credits say it was produced on Sept. 16, 2001, a Sunday, during USC’s football season.

The Trojans played at the Coliseum the weekend before and two weeks later.

For more than a year, The LA Times has been reporting on financial irregularities at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, stories that have triggered several criminal and civil inquiries. Three former Coliseum managers, two nationally prominent rave promoters and a stadium contractor have been indicted in the scandal.

If the date noted in the article is accurate, how serious is it that a high-ranking manager or other employee may have let in an unauthorized film crew just five days after 9-11, when much of the country was still either on lockdown or in mourning.
